Day Seven – Coming to a Close

As day 7 comes to a close I am very proud and happy to say, I did it! I made it through another day in keeping to my ‘eat clean’ challenge. No soda, no fast food, no artificial sugar, no junk food, no refined grains and no processed meat. I drank lots of water. Had oatmeal for breakfast, juiced for lunch, ate some almonds and grapes as snacks and had a chicken salad for dinner. In all, 1 week almost completed.

I’ve already did some walking today but I still plan on going walking very soon. One of my daily goals along with ‘eat clean’ is to always go walking by 10:30 PM no later than 10:45 PM for about 20 – 30 minutes. It is now time to push myself a little harder, a little further with the walking. I’ve been going for about 20 – 25 minutes these last few days (yesterday was Sunday and I took it easy and just ‘strolled’ along) so it’s now time to go longer.

I would also like to thank you those who have left comments for me and also those who have called me to let me know you are behind me! Again, Thank You!

Small challenge for you if you except:
Take a piece of paper (any size that is large enough to write a few paragraphs upon), a pen or pencil and then go sit at a desk were you are able to write comfortably. Now sit and relax by breathing in, then breathing out. While breathing make sure you are breathing correctly by expanding your diaphragm and while breathing out you relax your diaphragm as your chest contracts, if are already breathing this way awesome, if not do this for a few minutes and continue on once you get the hang of it. Now as you sit breathing relax your body. Clear your mind. Breathe in, then breathe out all your stress, let things go that bugged or annoyed you today. Breathe in, then breathe out your frustrations. Once you are relaxed and your mind is clear think of a close friend or loved one. Whoever pops into your mind first grab a hold of them. Think about them, connect with them! When you feel you’ve done this take the piece of paper and writing device and write them a letter. Write whatever comes to your mind! Once you are done send or give it to them! No, do not send them an email. Do not send them a text message – take the time and write them a genuine handwritten, heart felt letter. In our day of age we don’t do this as often as we should. Do this as many times you like, but try to do this at least once a month.

Till next time ~ be well and be at piece.
