The Eleventh Day – Spiritual Growth

Today is the eleventh day of second month since I started eating clean. Even with a awesome Sunday family dinner I was able to eat clean all day. I had tons of water and I even got exercise in playing with my nieces. So today was a awesome day. Okay, okay, the awesome Sunday family dinner was for me in celebration of my birthday this week. In fact, for my birthday that is tomorrow!

As I continue on my journey I am finding myself having more energy, sleeping better, able to walk further and many more wonderful things. It’s only been 41 days since I started on this journey. I am excited to see where this journey goes and how it will be down the road. As for now I will still take one day at a time, one meal at a time. I will continue on asking for strength I need to move forward and not give up or get discourage. I know as long as I eat right, exercise and drink lots of water things will continue moving forward.

Spiritual Growth

I continue to listen to the messages from our church leaders from last weekend, the 184th Semiannual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. There were so many talks I enjoyed but one that my wonderful sister pointed out to me was on Saturday afternoon. Take the time listen t this wonderful talk.

By applying the Atonement of Jesus Christ, you can begin increasing your spiritual confidence today if you are willing to listen and act.

I will continue on the path I’ve found. I will continue to make this journey not on my own but with all of you. I will ask for strength and help when needed. I thank all of you for the help you’ve shown and giving me thus far. Thank you! Thank you! Again, thank you!

Till tomorrow comes have a great day today. Be sure to take 30 minutes for yourself each day to get away from the busy day hassles and just be one with yourself and your mind. Clear your mind of all thoughts. Relax and breathe.

Note: The picture on this post is not a drawing but a photo I took and by using a plugin within Photoshop I was able to make it look like a charcoal and white chalk drawing. It is the Newport Beach Temple for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
